Megan has joined Wanstead as a co-op student for the summer of 2020, after completing her third year of Public Management at the University of Guelph. She intends to return for a further eight-month co-op placement with Wanstead Farmers in January 2021.

Megan will initially be working out of the Wanstead branch with Floyd Howard, with a focus on grain marketing. In addition to grain procurement responsibilities, she will be performing associated administrative duties, writing grain marketing commentaries, and updating the Wanstead Farmers website.

Megan was born and raised in the town of Wyoming, and she moved to a small farm with her family located on Confederation Line last year. She became interested in agriculture during her time at university, and she worked for Thompsons Limited in Blenheim during her first co-op placement. 

In her free time, Megan enjoys playing volleyball, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends. Megan is very excited to be apart of the team at Wanstead Farmers Co-operative!”
