Grain volumes were pathetically quiet overnight, as traders wait to see what the USDA Quarterly Stocks report brings at noon today. Grains traded both sides of unchanged. Market bulls are hoping against hope that the USDA gives a bullish surprise by cutting corn and soybean stocks, but that remains to be seen. Estimates for today’s reports are listed below:
This morning , the USDA will also release their Weekly Export Sales Report, with sales expected to rebound slightly from last week’s disappointing levels, as more Gulf terminal capacity comes on line. However, sales are expected to be well behind the levels sold a year ago on this date:
