Grains have traded both sides of unchanged in quiet, pre Thanksgiving holiday trade. Volumes are expected to be quiet today, as many traders have already begun their holiday preparations. USA markets will be closed on Thursday, with grains trading an abbreviated session on Friday. Traders will be wary regarding selling the market lower today after yesterday’s late rally that erased big early losses in corn and soybeans.
South American weather saw decent rains around Buenos Aries in Argentina, with precipitation expected to move northerly today. Brazil had light rains in the north, with southern regions expected to get very good rains over the next week and a half. Central areas of Brazil continue to look dry going into December.
