Grains are mostly higher at midday:

Mar Corn + 8 ¼  cents/bu (6.14 )

Jan Soybeans + 28 ¼  cents/bu (13.60 ¼ )

Mar Chi Wheat – 3 ¾  cents/bu (8.11 )

Cdn $ + 0.00040 (78.13 cents)

WTI Crude Oil +1.79/barrel (75.58)

This morning, the USDA confirmed a Flash Export Sale of 269,240 tonnes of corn for delivery to unknown destinations in 2021/22.

Weekly Export Inspections for the week ended December 23rd were released today, and overall numbers were at the low end of trade expectations.  28.3 million bushels of corn was exported, with 5.4 million bushels headed for China.  58 million bushels of soybeans were exported, with the Chinese taking 27.6 million.  10 million bushels of wheat was exported, but the Chinese did not take any.
