Job description
WANSTEAD FARMERS CO-OPERATIVE is looking for one candidate to join our team as a customer service representative at our Alvinston branch. The position is responsible for the efficient selling and servicing of products sold to our members who may contact or visit the Co-operative’s location. The Co-operative supplies its members with a wide variety of agronomy products and grain marketing services and therefore the applicant should have a good basic knowledge of these products and services.
Duties include
- Accept orders for products and services and initiate any actions required to effect delivery.
- Ensure all products ordered or shipped are properly invoiced prior to delivery.
- Monitor inventory values and ensure adequate supplies on hand.
- Assist taking and recording period inventory counts.
- Ensure provision of excellent customer service to members and customers.
- Provide day-to-day support to Crop Sales Specialist.
Requirements for the position
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, organize tasks and meet established deadlines.
- Proven communication and professional customer service skills.
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database management.
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible in assumed duties.
- Availability to work extended hours during busy seasons.
- Ability to have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Secondary School education (Preferred)
- Customer Service Experience (Preferred)
