Grains are mixed at midday:

Dec Corn + 2 cents/bu (5.36)

Nov Soybeans + 8 cents/bu (12.55 ¼ )

Dec Chi Wheat – 5 ¼ cents/bu (7.36)

Cdn $ +0.00505 (80.155 cents)

WTI Crude Oil +1.51/barrel (79.81)

Beans continue to be strong on hopes of increased Chinese buying as rumored overnight.  This morning, there were no USDA Flash Sale announcements however.

Rains across the Eastern Corn Belt will halt harvest for a couple of days, depending on the amounts received.

Very quiet Friday morning for new grain marketing news.  Some focus being paid to La Nina and the potential impact on South American production forecasts, but it is VERY early in the season to be making any assumptions about production issues.
