Full Time AZ Driver

Wanstead Farmers' Co-operative Company Limited is a progressive multi-service farm supply and grain marketing business in operation for the last 98 years. We have an immediate opening for a full time AZ driver to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe transfer of grain and fertilizer between customer locations and receiving terminals.
• Ensure that all deliveries are made on schedule.
• Operate the assigned vehicle safely and perform regular safety checks of the vehicle.
• Must monitor the loading and unloading process.
• Have a good knowledge of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act, maintain a good driving record.
• Willingness to assist with yard work during down times.
• Understand and follow Wanstead Farmers Co-operative health and safety policies and guidelines.

Requirements for the position:

• Must have and maintain a valid AZ license and a minimum of 3 years’ experience that can be documented.
• Must have and maintain a clean drivers abstract.
• Must obey all applicable rules and regulations.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings when necessary.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment and required documentation. Report any defects or safety concerns to management.
• Must be professional, friendly, and courteous.
